WinImages Requires

• A Microsoft® Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP or Windows NT 4.00/SP3(or higher) compatible computer
  (NT compliance was tested using NT 4 with Service pack 3)

• With a Pentium or higher processor

• 16 Mb of RAM memory at a minimum

• About 75 Mb of HD space if you keep the documentation on your hard disk, or,
  About 15 Mb of HD space if you keep the documentation on the CD.

• A Web Browser capable of displaying GIF, GIF animations, and JPEG images, as well as full compatibility with HTML level 3. This browser must be the default tool for .html files on your computer. The following browsers are known to be compatible:
  1. Firefox (as of FireFox Beta 0.8)
  2. Mozilla
  3. Netscape Release 3
  4. Netscape Release 4 ("Communicator")
  5. Internet Explorer Release 3
  6. Internet Explorer Release 4
  7. Internet Explorer Release 5
  8. Opera, any release

We recommend that WinImages R7 be used on the following hardware:

• An accelerated graphics display able to show 16 million or more colors
• A Pentium II processor or better
• 32 Mb or more of RAM memory.
• Netscape Release 4 or later, or Internet Explorer Release 4 or later, or Opera, any version

In general, more real memory (as opposed to virtual memory) will always assist the running of more cpu- and memory-intensive applications like WinImages Morph and WinImages F/x.
